Yesterday I was lost in thought, looking at the vast displays of 'spectacles' which all appeared to be very similar indeed ( rectangular lense - with/without frames ) when an elderley lady came up to me and said 'Do you like these ?' and proffered a pair of rather large plastic owl-like glasses, to which I truthfully noted that 'they are rather large'.
She immediately defended her choice with 'Well I LIKE them, I need them for reading'...........
'Always buy what you think suits you best then' I replied.
So a fashion accessory they were not, I wonder who will be looking at her whilst she's reading ??

I knew a lady who always wore outrageous glasses, she said that whilst people were looking at the 'specs', they weren't noticing her other facial imperfections...............
I wear glasses
I like that idea............ -
